Service Engineer (m/f/d)

We are a specialised manufacturer of marine rudders and rudder systems. In addition to design and manufacturing, we support our customers worldwide with technical service, repairs, inspections and maintenance.

To strengthen our service team, we are looking for a motivated Service Engineer (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities

  • Carry out worldwide service assignments on board vessels and at customer sites
  • Inspect, maintain and repair marine rudders and rudder systems
  • Perform fault finding, troubleshooting and technical problem-solving
  • Carry out commissioning, inspections and technical checks
  • Support repair and overhaul work on rudder systems
  • Prepare service reports and technical documentation
  • Act as a direct technical contact for customers during service assignments
  • Work closely with our engineering and service teams

Your Profile

  • Completed technical education or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechatronics or a comparable technical field
  • Practical experience in mechanical engineering, marine engineering or shipbuilding is an advantage
  • Strong technical understanding and practical hands-on skills
  • Independent, responsible and solution-oriented way of working
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work on worldwide assignments
  • Good command of German and English
  • Professional and confident manner when dealing with international customers
